What we think about social media marketing ..

Social media has revolutionized the way in which we communicate with one another. It has made it possible to talk to people on the other side of the world by simply pressing a few buttons. It has also allowed us to view the activities of others by visiting their timelines, looking at their recent photos and so on. What is more, social media has changed the world of marketing. Social media marketing has become extremely popular and has led to large developments in influencer marketing. There have, however, been some negatives to social media marketing. Let us, therefore, briefly review the way in which social media marketing has affected the world.

One major benefit of social media marketing is the growth of influencer-led marketing. This has enabled companies to reach large amounts of people, thereby attracting many new customers. Influencers have put their own spin on marketing, thus meaning that products and services have been presented in diverse and innovative ways.

One could, however, question the influencer who markets a product. In essence, one could question whether they genuinely use said product, or whether they find it at all beneficial. These questions arise since we are aware that most influencers receive large sums of money for marketing products, thus showing a limitation of social media marketing. Social media marketing is also limited because it is difficult to choose the right platform. Moreover, it can be difficult to measure the monetary value of your marketing schemes.

All in all, however, social media marketing definitely seems to have revolutionized the world of marketing. For that reason, it seems to have had a largely positive effect. It will be interesting to see whether the force of social media marketing will be sustained in the long-term, or whether it will eventually fade into the background.

$31 billion Airbnb announces plans to go public in 2020

With already disrupting the hotel market, Airbnb is expected by many to make enormous movements in the IPO markets this coming year. The home-sharing rental startup was last privately valued at $31 billion in September 2017, according to PitchBook.

airbnb is one of the most highly anticipated IPOs (Initial Public Offerings) in recent years.

If you missed out on FACEBOOK, LINKEDIN or TWITTER, then you this is a chance to buy shares in one of the biggest stock market listings of 2020.

Under normal circumstances the public don’t get the opportunity to purchase shares prior to the stock market listing as they are reserved for the world’s largest banks and institutions.

Airbnb in High Demand

The home-sharing company is among the most valuable closely held companies, with a valuation of $31 billion as of March 2017.

Also, Airbnb is one of the most highly anticipated IPOs in recent years.

Tech Start Up GIANT

Tech startups Zoom, Slack, PagerDuty, CloudFlare, and Pinterest went public in 2019 and are currently trading above their IPO price.

Airbnb has already made its CEO Brian Chesky one of the richest tech founders in America, and the company’s origin story is a quintessential rags-to-riches tale of success in Silicon Valley.

Airbnb’s initial public offering has been heavily anticipated by Wall Street. In November, former Amazon vice president Dave Stephenson joined Airbnb, feuling the market’s hopes that the company was preparing to go public.

As of April 2019, there were a total of more than 150 million users on Airbnb.
Since it’s launch, it has hosted 500 million guests.

Once this is in place we start to put visuals next to the data, this may be images, graphic or graphs and data-sets.

How much do they cost?

The cost can vary a lot depending on the end goal, simply infographic’s can cost around £300 and are typically delivered over a 48 hour period, whilst other require detailed research and can cost up to £1500 and typical are delivered within 1-3 weeks.
